Questions
Can I open the door with a broken spring?
No. Without a working spring the door is very heavy and can drop. Leave it closed, keep people and cars clear, and call.
Should I fix my door or replace it?
Many doors only need a new spring, cable, or roller. If panels are badly bent, a new door can make more sense. Call and describe it.
Why does my door go back up when it closes?
Often the safety sensors near the floor are dirty or out of line. Wipe the lenses and check that both lights are steady. If it still backs up, call.
